How old does my child have to be to enter New Hope Christian School?
Our youngest pre-school children are 2 years old.
Do children have to be potty trained before they are able to start school?
Children who enter our 2’s program DO NOT need to be potty trained.

However, children entering our PS 3's, PS 3/4's, PS 4’s, and PS Junior Kindergarten MUST be fully potty trained prior to the start of school. Fully potty-trained means they can communicate they need to use the bathroom, can pull down and pull up their pants, and are able to wipe themselves.
Does your school help with potty training?
New Hope Christian School will work with families in the 2-year-old class with the important step of toilet training. To achieve, this, the
pre-school staff and parents must work together and communicate about progress. Students entering our 3's, 3/4's, 4’s or junior kindergarten classes must be fully potty trained before entering pre-school.
If my child isn’t potty trained, will it cost more? No
Only those in the 2's class may start school in diapers or pull-ups at no extra cost. Parents are to provide supplies (including diapers and baby wipes). Students entering our 3's, 3/4's, 4’s or junior kindergarten classes must be fully potty trained before entering pre-school.
